Before Covid-19 St John's held two worship services every Sunday morning, one at 9:00 am and another at 10:45 am...

9.00 am Holy Communion

This service follows the traditional pattern of Holy Communion, with hymns from Songs of  Fellowship. The liturgy is easily followed through a printed order of service, and large print copies are also available.

This service is followed by morning coffee in the Church Centre afterwards. Whether you are a regular communicant or simply enjoy a traditional experience of worship, you will be very warmly welcome to join us.

10.45 am Family Celebration

With a varied pattern of worship across the month, 1045 is characterised by a relaxed approach and a mixture of sung worship led by the band, with liturgy and song words and media projected on both sides of the church.

Across three weeks of the month, this service hosts a full range of activities for children and young people, from creche facilities for the very youngest, through to teenage years and beyond.

The Family Celebration is also followed by coffee and other drinks, sometime even cakes.

Come and see for yourself - we'll make you very welcome

Evening Events

On the first Sunday of the month we have a discussion group at the Blue Stoops, 8.00pm.  On the third Sunday of the month we have a cafe-style Evening Service at 6.00pm in the church hall.

For now we have one time of worship on Sunday that we are calling Sunday:LIVECAST   It goes out live on Facebook and our website every Sunday at 10:30am. It brings together the best of the content of all our regular services.
