Youth and Young People

TiG meets at St John’s Church every 1st, 3rd and 4th Sunday of the month during the 10:45am service.

TiG stands for Teenagers into God and is for all eleven to fourteen year olds. During TiG we look at a bible passage, which sets the theme for the activities and open discussions on the reading(s).

Big TiG

Big TIG meets at St John’s Church every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month during the 10:45am service.  Big TIG Homegroup occurs on the 2nd and 4th Sunday which is an evening based bible discussion.

Big TiG is for Year 10 students and over.  The sessions start off with a hot drink, a bit of music and a fun activity to break the ice before we get into the theme of the day which generally covers the same bible passages as in Church.

The 4th Sunday is called Service Sunday, and Big TIG are encouraged to participate in worship, from reading the Bible, leading prayers, oversight of the sound system and projector or serving as a member of the Welcome Team.

Big TiG Homegroup

Big TIG Homegroup is a youth social with chatting, bible studies, cookies or cake!  The leaders are experienced Christians and able to help members of Big TIG understand how the bible is relevant to their lives, giving practical advice on living out your faith.

Big TIG Homegroup meets twice a month during term time at 7:45pm to 9pm every 2nd and 4th Sunday.
